The original plan for today would have been climbing something close to the apartment, or Monte Padrio.
As that already nearly destroyed me yesterday, I set out this morning for an easier stage.
Or so I thought…
After all, Torri di Fraele is not that difficult – on a good day.
And I didn’t have one of those but refused to admit it 🤐
Besides, the weather was not good, chilly and foggy, which meant none of the famous views…
While I was about to call it a day back down from the Torri, the weather cleared up and I decided to climb Bormio 2000.
I had set a target for that of 35 minutes some time ago but already changed that to 45 minutes.
In the end, I ended in the middle, which was a PR, but I think I will scrap all other targets and / or PR attempts.
Starting with tomorrow’s Stelvio – I’ll be happy if I can finish that within 2 hours.
Volkan is going to have a couple of field days next week…
