Just a short post to tell you (who cares?) that my Trek Speed Concept SLR 9 has arrived!
I accidentally saw they were working on it last week, when I visited my LBS.
As Paula was at the hospital to visit a friend, I wanted to kill the time and entered the store.
(I didn’t really need anything, but I “scored” a fitting jersey nonetheless 😂)
The bike was 90% ready, so I’ve been waiting for a phone call all of last week.
They called me several times, but that was to discuss options for (tubeless) tires and stuff like that.
Anyway, I picked it up Saturday.
As the roads were soaking wet from the rain, I obviously did not take it out for a spin.
Letting it get dirty on its maiden ride? What kind of monster would do that?
